I'm Albert Pruis. I've worked in IT for more than 25 years, and in recent years have focused entirely on Kubernetes and cloud-native platform engineering. I hold certifications as a Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), alongside certifications in Argo CD, Helm, Prometheus, Istio, and Terraform.

I've built, operated, and improved Kubernetes platforms for organizations including Colruyt Group, Jumbo Supermarkten, Leger des Heils, and Sopra Steria — from standing up new AKS clusters to training internal teams so they can eventually manage the platform independently.

I'm based in the Netherlands and available for remote contract work internationally, as well as on-site engagements within the EU. No account manager in between — you work directly with the person doing the work.

I'm working through a structured, hands-on program covering GPU scheduling and sharing (NVIDIA GPU Operator, MIG, time-slicing), LLM inference serving (vLLM, KServe), autoscaling on real serving signals, cost optimization, and multi-tenant GPU platforms — all documented in public, with real numbers, on the blog.
